In support of this initiative, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has partnered with the National Population Commission (NPC) to register 12.7 million births in 2023. This collaborative effort aims to issue birth certificates to children under the age of 5 across 21 states, 456 local government areas (LGAs), and 4,978 wards in Nigeria.

We are delighted to inform you that NPC has now commenced the e-recruitment process for adhoc workers involved in digital birth registration. If you are interested in contributing to this important cause, you can apply as either an NYSC member or an adhoc worker.

To apply, please visit the following link: https://birthregistrationadhoce-recruitment.com. If you are a youth corps member, select the “Start as NYSC” option; otherwise, choose “Start as Adhoc.” Join us in this meaningful endeavor to ensure every child’s birth is recognized and documented accurately.

Please note that the birth registration initiative aims to register a significant number of births, providing children with official birth certificates that reflect their names and nationality. Your participation can make a difference, so don’t miss this opportunity to contribute to the development and well-being of Nigeria’s future generations.
