The Local Organising Committee on Tuesday made it known to the public on TVC News that the Sport festival has been postponed, the festival was earlier scheduled to commence after its postponement in April and October it was rescheduled to go down on the 3rd of December up on till the 17th of December, but the Chairman of the LOC Philip Shuaibu cited poor preparation for the Athletes due to time of the competition and also logistics was the bane behind the postponement and also the PTF not agreeing on the date that was put forward.
The revelation brings clarity on the National Sport Festival holding in 2020 or not as there was not much news out to the public as the supposed date was during near.
