The Nigeria Police has said it will be having a live meeting session with musician Naira Marley to discuss reforms for the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Force.
The meeting which would hold on Tuesday 6th October, 2020 will be hosted by the Force PRO – DCP Frank Mba as he engage the Afro pop artiste in a live Instagram chat to answer questions and discuss the concerns of young Nigerians on the issues of SARS operations and other burning issues.
A statement by Mr Mba read, “The Inspector General of Police wishes to inform Nigerian youths that their voices and complaints on the issues of unprofessional conducts by some SARS operatives have been heard very loud and clear.”

“We won’t be protesting anymore because there’s a lot of changes being made right now.
“As a Marlian, we will give them a week to see the changes and if there is no changes we will start a mass protest,” he tweeted.
It is still unclear if Marley’s cancellation of a planned protest has anything to do with his meeting with the police.
