According to Femi Fani-kayode , the soldiers behind the lekki toll gate shooting were led by Brigadier General F.O Omata .
GoldenNewsNg had reported earlier soldiers of the Nigerian Army opened fire on peaceful #EndSARS protesters camping at Lekki toll gate in Lagos.
The attack on the #EndSARS protesters in its wake, left “several” protesters dead and others injured according to videos published on Twitter by eyewitnesses.
