The Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy has announced the completion of the selection process for the Creative Leap Acceleration Programme (CLAP), organized in partnership with The Fashion Academy Abuja.

According to the ministry, the application window has officially closed, interviews have been conducted, and all successful participants have been notified.

In a statement, the ministry said:

“We are pleased to announce that following the successful application period for the Creative Leap Acceleration Programme (CLAP) in partnership with The Fashion Academy Abuja, we have completed candidate interviews and notified all selected participants.”

The programme, designed to empower emerging designers, tailors, and fashion entrepreneurs, is aimed at nurturing creativity and boosting the Nigerian fashion industry.

“We look forward to welcoming these emerging designers, tailors, and fashion entrepreneurs as they embark on this transformative journey,” the ministry added.

GoldenNewsNg earlier reported that according to the Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Creative Economy, Hon Hanatu Musawa, CLAP is a national initiative designed to position Nigeria as a global leader in the creative economy. The programme will also provide structured training, mentorship, and funding to help creatives scale their careers.

She further noted that CLAP will empower creatives with skills, mentorship, funding, and access to global opportunities, creating 2 million jobs and driving a $100 billion economy.
