The FG has started disbursing ₦75,000 to vulnerable Nigerians through the Direct Benefits Transfer Program. Find out how to qualify and receive payment.

Federal Government Rolls Out ₦75,000 Direct Cash Transfer to Vulnerable Nigerians

The Federal Government of Nigeria has officially begun the disbursement of ₦75,000 to eligible households under the Direct Benefits Transfer Program. This initiative aims to provide financial relief to vulnerable families struggling with economic hardship.

Who is Eligible for the ₦75,000 Direct Cash Transfer?

The government plans to reach 15 million vulnerable households across the country. To qualify, your household must be registered in the National Social Register of Poor and Vulnerable Households (NSR-PVH).

Additionally, recipients must have a valid National Identification Number (NIN) to receive the funds. The payments are structured in three installments:

  • ₦25,000 – First installment
  • ₦25,000 – Second installment
  • ₦25,000 – Third installment

This approach ensures that beneficiaries receive continued financial support rather than a one-time payout.

Objective of the Direct Benefits Transfer Program

The program is designed to:

✅ Alleviate financial hardship among low-income households.
✅ Promote economic and financial inclusion for disadvantaged Nigerians.
✅ Provide direct support to those struggling due to inflation and economic downturns.

Beware of Fraudulent Activities

The Federal Government has emphasized that this payment is completely FREE. You do not need to pay anyone to be added to the National Social Register. Any request for payment in exchange for inclusion is a scam.

If you encounter fraudulent activities, report them immediately to the relevant authorities to ensure transparency and fairness in the disbursement process.

The Direct Benefits Transfer Program is a crucial initiative aimed at reducing financial hardship for millions of Nigerians. If your household is registered in the National Social Register, ensure your details are up to date to receive your payment.

For official updates and inquiries, follow government channels and beware of scammers trying to exploit this relief program
