2025 FG Civil Service Recruitment Begins: Application Form Out, 72-Hour Deadline to Apply

The Federal Government of Nigeria has officially opened the portal for the 2025 Civil Service Recruitment, inviting qualified Nigerians to apply for various vacancies across ministries, departments, and agencies.

In a statement released by the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF), interested applicants are expected to complete and submit the recruitment form within 72 hours from the time of release. The application process is free of charge and open to all eligible Nigerians, regardless of state or background.

Who Can Apply?

The Civil Service recruitment is targeted at young, vibrant, and qualified Nigerians who meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth

  • Must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or HND from a recognized institution

  • Must have completed the NYSC programme or obtained an exemption certificate

  • Must be between the ages of 18 and 35

  • Computer literacy is an added advantage

Available Positions

Vacancies are available in the following departments and sectors:

  • Administrative Officers

  • Information Officers

  • Human Resources & Planning

  • Legal Services

  • Accountants & Auditors

  • Data Analysts & ICT roles

  • Environmental & Health Services

  • And more across MDAs

How to Apply

Applicants are to visit the official Civil Service recruitment portal:

👉 https://recruitment.fedcivilservice.gov.ng/vacancies

  1. Click on the recruitment section

  2. Create an account or log in

  3. Fill in your personal details and upload the necessary documents

  4. Submit your application before the deadline

 Important: All forms must be filled out and submitted within 72 hours from the release date. Late entries will not be considered.

What Happens After You Apply?

After the initial screening, shortlisted candidates will be contacted via email and SMS for the next stage, which may include a written test or virtual interview. Final selection will be based on merit, qualification, and performance.

Avoid Scams

The Federal Government has warned applicants not to pay anyone or use agents for the recruitment process. The entire process is free, and no “connection” is needed. All updates will be posted on the official OHCSF website.
