The Federal Government, through the National Cash Transfer Office (NCTO), has unveiled an upgraded Household Prosperity and Empowerment Programme (HoPE) website designed to improve public access to verified information and programme updates.
According to the agency, the enhanced website, now live at ncto.gov.ng, provides Nigerians with reliable insights into the ongoing implementation of the HoPE initiative, which aims to improve the economic well-being and livelihoods of vulnerable households across the country.
In a statement released by the NCTO management, the upgrade reflects the agency’s commitment to transparency, public engagement, and digital inclusion in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
The new portal serves as a central hub where visitors can:
-
Learn about HoPE’s objectives and progress.
-
Access verified programme updates and announcements.
-
Understand eligibility requirements and upcoming empowerment activities.
-
Engage with NCTO’s initiatives through official channels.
The agency noted that the redesign makes it easier for beneficiaries and stakeholders to access credible information directly, helping to reduce misinformation and improve awareness about federal empowerment schemes.
“This upgrade is part of our continuous effort to ensure transparency and public participation in all our interventions,” the statement said.
The Household Prosperity and Empowerment Programme (HoPE) is one of Nigeria’s flagship social investment initiatives, focused on enhancing household income, supporting small-scale enterprises, and promoting financial inclusion among low-income families.
The NCTO urged Nigerians to visit https://ncto.gov.ng regularly for verified information about HoPE and other national cash transfer programmes.
