A ticket to the 2022 World Cup is the prize on offer in Abuja tonight, as there is only room for one of these African footballing giants in Qatar.

Not only that, but this showdown pits two of the continent’s biggest rivals against each other. Their clashes date back to 1950 and these two teams have become very familiar with one another ever since.

Last week, Ghana hosted a 0-0 draw in the first leg of this play-off tie – a tense affair that was only punctured by a VAR review overturning a late penalty for the Super Eagles.
