Rapper CDQ Olowo has taken a swipe at the organizers of the 14th Headies Awards concerning the winner of the Best Street Hop Artiste of the year.
Golden News NG has earlier published the full list of the winners at the 14th edition of the awards which was held on Sunday night, February 21. Singer Mayorkun won the Best Street Hop Artiste of the year category as against Naira Marley and the others.
Reacting to this CDQ who is a marlian and a friend to Naira Marley has accused the organizers of playing politics with the results. According to him, they didn’t even exercise their conscience in depriving Naira of the award.
On his official Twitter page, CDQ expressed his displeasure. However, he revealed that he’s not in anyway against the winners but he has to call the organizers out.
The tweet reads;
“Headies una don start dis una obvious industry politics tins again… How d hell una go carry Best Street Hop give someone else at the expense of Naira dis yr 🤨 and conscience no judge una 🤦♂️ hmmm…
