The food seasoning brand called Ajinomoto is not new in Nigeria. There were a lot of controversy over its use and even its certification by the National Agency for Food Drug, Administration and Control NAFDAC. But a lot has changed since then as the brand is not widely accepted for use.
Celebrities often work as brand ambassadors behind certain products to improve their image in the Nigerian market and that is what famous comedian Helen Paul has done. The celebrity who is widely known for her comedy and comic voice shared a photo of herself holding a pack of Ajinomoto and recommending it to all Nigerians.
Ajinomoto seems like a Chinese product that has come to stay in Nigeria because of international trade. Unlike before when some people use it in place of starch for clothes, Ajinomoto is now considered as the best kitchen choice for mothers.
This feat has been achieved because many celebrities like Helen Paul have stood behind te brand and has helped it regain public trust and confidence in a highly competitive market were brands are striving for relevance.
