Step-By-Step Guide to Applying for CDCFIB Recruitment 2025

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially launched the 2025 recruitment exercise. This presents a major opportunity for Nigerians seeking full-time employment in the following federal agencies:

  • Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC)

  • Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS)

  • Federal Fire Service (FFS)

  • Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS)

To ensure you apply correctly and increase your chances of selection, follow this complete step-by-step guide.

What You Need Before You Start Application

Before beginning your application, make sure you have the following:

  • A valid email address and phone number

  • National Identification Number (NIN)

  • Scanned copies of your academic credentials

  • A passport photograph

  • A valid form of identification (National ID, Voter’s Card, or Driver’s License)

  • Certificate of medical fitness from a government-recognized hospital (for screening stage)

 

Step-by-Step Application Process

Step 1: Visit the Official Recruitment Portal
Go to https://recruitment.cdcfib.org
Only this official portal should be used to submit your application.

Step 2: Choose the Agency You’re Applying For
Select one of the following agencies:

  • NSCDC

  • NIS

  • FFS

  • NCoS

Click on “Start Application” under the preferred agency.

Step 3: Register and Create a Profile
Fill in your:

  • Full name

  • Email and phone number

  • State and LGA of origin

  • Gender and date of birth

  • Create a secure password

Step 4: Upload Required Documents
You will be required to upload the following:

  • Passport photograph

  • Certificates of educational qualification

  • Birth certificate or age declaration

  • Government-issued ID

Step 5: Select Your Preferred Position

Choose a position that aligns with your academic qualifications. Vacancies are grouped under:

  • General Duty

  • Inspectorate Cadre

  • Assistant Cadre

Step 6: Review and Submit Your Application


Double-check all the information entered. Once everything is accurate, click submit. A confirmation message and Application ID will be provided.

Step 7: Print Your Application Slip


Download and print your application slip. This will be required during the screening and verification stages.

Application Deadline

The application portal opened on Monday, July 14, 2025, and will close on Monday, August 4, 2025. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
