General Requirements for Federal Task Force Recruitment

  • Citizenship: Applicants must be Nigerian by birth or descent.
  • Age: Candidates should fall within the age bracket of 18 to 35 years.
  • Physical Attributes: Male candidates must meet a minimum height requirement of 1.7 meters, while females must be at least 1.64 meters tall. Additionally, a fully expanded chest measurement of 0.87 meters is mandatory.
  • Physical and Mental Fitness: Certification by a Government Medical Officer attesting to physical and mental fitness is mandatory.
  • Financial and Character Assessment: Applicants must demonstrate sound financial management and possess a clean criminal record.
  • Health: Certain medical conditions, such as sight or hearing impairments, previous major surgeries, or ongoing pregnancy, may disqualify candidates from consideration.

Academic Qualifications

To be eligible for recruitment into the Federal Task Force, candidates must satisfy the following academic criteria:

A: West African School Certificate (WASC) or Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSSC) with credits in at least three subjects, including English, and passes in two additional subjects; or

National Examination Council (NECO)/General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level with passes in four subjects obtained at one sitting or five subjects obtained at two sittings, including English Language.

B: National Diploma (ND) from a recognized institution.

National Certificate of Education (NCE) from an accredited school; or

General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) with two subjects passed at once, or three subjects passed over two sittings.

Visit the Abuja Office: Journey to the Federal Task Force office situated in Abuja, specifically at Area 11 opposite the police headquarters at Edet’s house, to submit your application here.

Prepare Your Application: Ensure all requisite documents and information, such as academic records and identification papers, are assembled before your visit.

Submit Your Application: Present your completed application to the Abuja office and adhere to any instructions provided by the staff.

Follow Up: After submission, periodically follow up with the office to inquire about the status of your application and seek clarification on any recruitment-related queries.
