How To Apply For Nigerian Army 87 Regular Recruits Intake 2024

The Nigerian Army has commenced online applications for the 87 Regular Recruits Intake for trades/non-tradesmen and women.

The application starts on 3rd May 2024 and ends on 7th June 2024.

Here’s how to apply:

Method of Application

  • Apply Online: Visit the recruitment portal HERE and log in using the provided username and password.
  • Complete Application Form: Fill out the application form online, submit it, and print a copy. Additionally, complete the Guarantor Form as required.
  • Submission: Bring copies of the Application Form and guarantor forms to the designated state recruitment centers.

Basic Qualifications

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Nigerian Citizenship: Applicants must be single Nigerian citizens by birth and possess a National Identity Card/NIN or BVN.
  • Physical Fitness: Applicants must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit as per Nigerian Army standards.
  • Clean Record: Applicants must be free of any criminal convictions by a court of law.
  • Educational Qualifications: Possession of a valid birth certificate or age declaration, and a minimum of 4 passes in not more than 2 sittings in WASCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB.
  • Age Limit: Applicants must be between 18 and 22 years old for non-trades men/women, and not more than 26 years old for tradesmen/women as of June 30, 2024.
  • Height Requirement: Male applicants must be at least 1.68 meters tall, while female applicants must be at least 1.65 meters tall.
  • Certificate of Origin: Applicants must possess a valid certificate of state of origin.
  • Additional Skills: Knowledge of any additional skill would be an added advantage.

General Instructions

  • No Pre-Selection Test: There will be no Pre-Selection Computer Based Test.
  • No Special Centers: There are no special centers for recruitment.
  • State Screening: Screening will be conducted at the candidates’ respective states of origin.
  • COVID-19 Protocols: Candidates must adhere to COVID-19 protocols, including regular handwashing, use of face masks, and observing physical distancing.
  • No Falsification: Falsification of results will lead to withdrawal from training at Depot NA.
  • BVN Printouts: Candidates are advised to bring their BVN printouts.
  • No Gratification: Candidates should not offer gratification or inducement to any person or group to assist in the recruitment exercise.
  • Instructions: Carefully read the instructions on the website or call the provided support lines if in doubt.
  • Shortlisted Candidates: Names of shortlisted candidates will be published on the NA website.
  • Application Deadline: Interested candidates should complete online registration from May 3 to June 7, 2024. Selected candidates will participate in the State Recruitment Screening Exercise from June 20 to July 3, 2024.

Interested candidates are advised to log on to the NA recruitment website https://recruitment.army.mil.ng/darrr to complete online registration from 3 May to 7 2024. Selected candidates will participate in the State Recruitment Screening Exercise scheduled for 20th June to 3rd July 2024
