The Federal Government has activated the TVET ID card download portal for all successfully shortlisted trainees under the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programme. The ID card serves as an official verification document for participants placed across the 1,600 approved training centres nationwide.

Why the TVET ID Card Is Important
The Federal Ministry of Education emphasized that the TVET ID card is a mandatory verification tool at all official training centres. It helps ensure transparency, prevent impersonation, and improve coordination between trainees and facilitators.
Officials also confirmed that the issuance of the digital ID cards aligns with the government’s Skills-to-Jobs initiative, which aims to train and empower 150,000 Nigerians with practical skills for employment and entrepreneurship.
