In an interactive session with journalist that was held in Abuja, the APC flag bearer for the incoming September elections, Pastor Ize Iyamu talked about the possibility of losing the election and what he would do if it came to that.
“I want to assure you that if I lose the election, the worst that can happen is that I will go to court. There will be no resort to violence,” he said.
Pastor Ize Iyamu promised during the Session that Edo people can be rest assured that the APC will play no part in causing havoc in the state and labelled this notion as a propaganda pushed by the rival party, PDP.
He alleged that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was trying to raise a false alarm to scare voters from coming out on September 19, in order to write results.
This seems to be the message from both Camps, as Deputy Governor, Philip Shaibu had earlier warned that former Governor and National Chairman of the APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole was planning to cause serious mayhem in the forthcoming elections.
