Actress Ini Edo has vowed to remain at home despite government’s decision to lift the lock down and allow economic activities to continue in the country. She disclosed her views on the policy on her instagram handle and urged her fans not to take the risk of going about their normal lives when danger still locks around.
Some notable personalities in Nigeria have also shared this views warning people to take caution and not take the government’s decision seriously. One person that have done that is Alibaba. The leading position party in Nigeria have also done the same warning Nigerians not to embrace the decision.
The reason that are calling fr a boycott is that they see that the government fears that it may not be able to cope with the economic turmoil that will result from a continuous shut down even when it has not done enough to flattened the curve of the spread of covid19 in Nigeria.
Those calling for a boycott like Ini Edo are not just being callous, they are being realistic about their claims Since the first case was confirmed it has been on the increase on a daily basis and many people are yet to be tested by the health officials sparking speculations that it may soon go out of control.
