Members of Peoples Democratic Party Social Media Organization, Katsina state chapter, have declared war on bandits using locally made catapults.
The Katsina PDP Youths embarked on the exercise tagged, “Operation Catapult Shoot”, follwing the directive of the state government that people of the State should defend themselves against bandits’ attacks.
GoldenNewsNG recalls that Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari had asked residents to defend themselves against bandits instead of waiting for security operatives to protect them.
The directive led to the launch of the “Operation Catapult Shoot” in Katsina metropolis by the State Chairman of the Organization, Comrade Nuraddeen Adam Kankara Tina.
Adam was quoted as saying, “We embark on the exercise in compliance with the recent directive issued by the Katsina State government and we are determined to expand the exercise across local government areas of the state”.
