According to him “I can assure you that there is improvement in response time, intelligence and prompt visibility policing.

“Let me also warn that the Police is to protect the citizens and not abuse their rights as anyone found wanting will face the wrath of the law.”

The Zone 7 AIG urged them to take advantage of the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the officers’ welfare package will be given the required priority so as to boost their moral and confidence while carrying out their mandate.

He further reiterated the commitment of the Nigerian Police in getting rid of all forms of criminalities such as cyber crimes, adding that as the leading internal security of the country, measures have been put in place to resist inter boarder crimes to gain the confidence of the masses.

The AIG while commending the State Police Commissioner, Ogundele Ayodeji for his leadership style and the recent break through, thanked Governor Mohammed Umar Bago for the vehicles donated to the command.

The Niger State Commissioner of Police CP, Ogundele Ayodeji appreciated the AIG’s visit for his share of wisdom, knowledge and experience through his lecture

He revealed some of the Command’s challenges to include; insurgency and banditry, youth restiveness, inadequate logistics and manpower as well as dilapidated office structures and accommodation in some Divisional and local government offices in the State.
