JAMB has revealed that the determination of cut-off marks for admissions into universities, polytechnics, and other tertiary institutions will take place during the upcoming 2023 policy meeting, scheduled for June 24th, 2023.
The event will be held at the National Judicial Institute and will be attended by heads of tertiary institutions and regulatory bodies such as the National Universities Commission, National Board for Technical Education, and the National Commission for Colleges of Education, among others.

In addition to announcing the minimum admission cut-off marks, the meeting will establish policy directions for the country’s tertiary institutions, formulate admission guidelines, conduct a comprehensive review of application statistics and performance, determine concessional and acceptable minimum admission standards for all tertiary institutions in Nigeria, and evaluate the 2023 admission exercise.
The announcement of the cut-off marks will mark the official commencement of the 2023/2024 admission exercise. Consequently, schools will promptly announce the sale of their Post-UTME forms following the meeting.
