Did you miss your rescheduled JAMB UTME 2025 exam? Don’t panic. If you had a genuine reason for missing the exam, there’s still a way to fix it. The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced what affected candidates should do through their official X (formerly Twitter) page.

This guide explains everything you need to know, how to submit a complaint, request a new exam centre, and get help through JAMB’s emergency support line.

What to Do If You Missed the JAMB Rescheduled Exam

According to JAMB, candidates who missed their exam for genuine reasons should raise a ticket on its support platform. This is the only approved way to request another chance to write your exam.

JAMB Statement:
“Did you miss your scheduled examination for a genuine reason? Kindly raise a ticket to that effect on support.jamb.gov.ng stating why you missed the session and where you’d prefer to rewrite the exam.”

How to Raise a Ticket on JAMB Support Platform

Follow these simple steps to report your missed exam:

  1. Go to the official support portal: https://support.jamb.gov.ng

  2. Click on “Create Support Ticket”

  3. Fill in your details:

    • Full name

    • JAMB registration number

    • Reason for missing the exam

    • Your preferred CBT centre for the rescheduled exam

  4. Submit the ticket and wait for a response from JAMB

This process helps JAMB verify your claim and decide if you qualify for another chance to write the exam.

JAMB Emergency Support Centre for Candidates

In addition to the support ticket platform, JAMB has introduced a Candidate Counselling Emergency Support Centre (CCESC) for students who need urgent help or clarification.

You can now speak directly with JAMB officials.

Call any of these JAMB support officials:

  • Gbenga

  • Yusuf

  • Dubem

  • Tony

  • Ogbonna

  • Emma

📞 Hotline: 0700 220 0016

🔔 Note: JAMB still advises that the online ticketing platform remains the fastest and most effective way to get support.

Why Is JAMB Repeating the 2025 UTME for Some Candidates?

JAMB announced it would reconduct the 2025 UTME for over 379,000 candidates who experienced technical issues at some centres.

Here’s what you should know:

  • The make-up exam began on Friday, May 16, 2025

  • Candidates are being notified through SMS, email, phone calls, and their JAMB profiles

  • Issues were due to errors in the exam setup in some zones

List of Affected Zones and Centres

  • Lagos Zone:

    • Most affected with 65 centres

    • Over 206,610 candidates involved

  • Owerri Zone (South-East):

    • 92 centres affected

    • Over 173,387 candidates impacted

Final Tips for Affected Candidates

  • Don’t delay: If you missed your exam, raise a ticket immediately

  • Be clear and honest in your explanation

  • Use your correct details to avoid delays

  • Check your email and JAMB profile often for updates

  • Keep your phone line active in case JAMB needs to call

 Conclusion

If you missed your 2025 JAMB rescheduled exam, you still have a chance to make it right, but you need to act fast. Submit your complaint through the JAMB support website and stay alert for updates.

And remember: The support ticket system is your best option for getting help. You can also call the emergency helpline for urgent issues.
