A delegation of West African Leaders headed by former Nigeria president Dr Goodluck Jonathan has arrived the Malian capital Bamako on a mission to restore order after a military Coup.
The delegation was set up by the Economic Community of West African States ECOWAS following the political unrest rocking Mali and president Ibrahim Keita’s resignation.
The former president who is ECOWAS Special Envoy to Mali, had visited Mali in July to mediate on the crises.
Another ECOWAS delegation, including current Nigerian president, Muhammadu Buhari, also visited the country for discussions on restoring peace in the country, but the talk did not yield results.
