A popular market in Benin City, Edo State, is currently on fire.
Santana market is located at Sapele road area in Benin City .
According to this News platform Cause of the incident which began midnight Saturday could not be immediately ascertained.
Efforts to reach the Edo State Fire Service were unsuccessful, as their known phone lines refused to connect.
As at the time of filing this report, residents of the area have besieged the market watching helplessly.
