The Lagos State Government has announced that it will reconstruct affected buildings of the helicopter crash that occured in the Opebi area of the State.
During a visit by the State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to the scene of the accident, he promised to support those affected by the crash.
Following the governor’s pledge, reconstruction of the affected buildings at 14 and 16 Salvation road, Opebi commenced in earnest on Monday morning.
The governor also promised that integrity tests will be carried out on the affected buildings as well as assist affected families.
“Tests will be conducted to understand the integrity of the buildings and once that is ascertained today or tomorrow, we will start work with the federal agencies.
“We will start the reconstruction and renovation of the places affected by the crash, the rooms, walls, tents and ensure that we quickly bring respite to the senior citizens that have been affected.”
