Lagos State Health Service Commission Opens 2025 Recruitment Portal for Clinical Staff

The Lagos State Health Service Commission (LSHSC) has announced the commencement of online applications for the recruitment of clinical staff into General Hospitals across the state.

The recruitment exercise, which officially opens on Monday, September 22, 2025, and closes on Friday, October 3, 2025, is part of the state government’s drive to strengthen healthcare delivery under the THEMES Agenda of the present administration.

FG Launches New Initiative to Empower 10 Million Women

According to the Commission, the approval for fresh recruitment will help curb the effects of brain drain and guarantee effective service delivery across the state’s 29 secondary healthcare facilities.

Available Positions

Vacancies are open for qualified candidates in the following categories:

  • Consultant in various specialties

  • Senior Registrar

  • Medical Officer

  • Dental Officer

  • Pharmacist

  • Physiotherapist

  • Medical Laboratory Scientist

  • Optometrist

  • Radiographer

  • Nursing Officer

  • Dental Therapist

  • Pharmacy Technician

  • Medical Laboratory Technician

  • Medical House Officers

  • Pharmacy Interns

  • Medical Laboratory Interns

  • Physiotherapy Interns

  • Optometry Interns

  • Radiography Interns

  • Nurse Interns

Qualification Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  1. Possession of a relevant degree, diploma, or certificate from an accredited institution in the respective field.

  2. Registration with the appropriate professional council or regulatory board in Nigeria.

  3. A valid licence, permit, or provisional licence to practise, where applicable.

  4. NYSC discharge or exemption certificate (where applicable).

  5. WAEC certificate or its equivalent.

Application Process

Interested candidates are to submit applications exclusively via the official recruitment portal: https://lshsc.com.ng/home/recruitment.

The Commission stressed that the recruitment process is completely free of charge. It warned applicants to disregard fraudulent claims demanding payment, as “LSHSC does not ask for any form of payment to apply or be called for interview.”

Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the Computer-Based Test (CBT) and subsequent interview.
