LASU Postgraduate Graduating Students Clearance Guidelines: A Step-by-Step Process
The Lagos State University Management has introduced an online final clearance procedure for postgraduate school graduates. The manual clearance system has been officially replaced with an online procedure, aiming to simplify the process for graduating students.
If you are a postgraduate student and need guidance on the online clearance process, this article will provide you with all the necessary information for a smooth procedure.
Follow these steps to complete the online clearance process for postgraduate graduating students:
- Visit https://csc.lasu.edu.ng/lasualumni/ to register as an alumnus.
- Go to https://www.lasu.edu.ng or https://www.lasu.edu.ng/pg-gcs. Under the “Student” menu, click on PG-GCS.
- Click on “Pre-Registration”.
- Fill in the required fields and click the “Verify” button.
- After successful completion of Step 4, your details and other required fields will be displayed. Fill in the form and click the “Submit” button to submit your details.
- Return to the login page (https://www.lasu.edu.ng/pg-gcs).
- Click on “Begin Clearance”.
- Select your “Student Category” and enter your “Matriculation Number”. Confirm your details when displayed and click the “Submit” button.
- Upon successful submission of Step 8, a link and an activation pin will be sent to your email. Note that the same pin will be required during the clearance process.
- Click the activation link in your email. On the activation page, enter your Matriculation Number and pin, then click the “Activate” button.
- After successful activation, you will need to create a password to secure your clearance dashboard. Click the submit button to save your password.
- You will be redirected to the “Login” page. Enter your matriculation number and password.
- Click the “Sign In” button.
- The dashboard will display the clearance application progression in the specified order.
- Click the “Clearance” link on the left side of the navigation menu to begin the clearance process.
- Note that the clearance process follows the order of precedence outlined below: a. Department b. Library c. Postgraduate School d. Alumni e. Bursary f. Internal Audit
- On the clearance page, fill in the required details (uploading passport, signature, etc.) and click the “Submit” button.
- You will be notified of the approval or rejection of your clearance through your dashboard and email. Once a stage is approved, proceed to the next stage. Continue this process until you reach the last stage, which is the Internal Audit Clearance.
- After successfully passing and receiving approval for all clearance stages, click the “Print Clearance” link on the left-side navigation menu to download your fully approved clearance report.
