Today’s Latest Npower News for Friday, May 12th, 2023 reports that Npower beneficiaries are urging Minister of Ministry Humanitarian Affairs, Sadiya Umar Farouq, to complete all outstanding stipend payments for N-power volunteers before the end of her term.
The N-power program was introduced in 2016 by President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration to provide employability and entrepreneurship skills to Nigerian youths. As the administration of President Buhari comes to an end this May 2023, Npower beneficiaries are calling on the Minister to clear all payment backlogs before her departure from office.
It is noteworthy that a few weeks ago, the Honourable Minister of the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq, stated that as the Npower program was initiated by the APC government, it would continue under the incoming APC leadership.
The Npower management Nasims has again updated beneficiaries in regards to the payment of backlog stipends.
