1. My family will not appear in court – Nnamdi Kanu’s brother gives reason
The family of Nnamdi Kanu, the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB leader has stated that they won’t be present in court.
Adding that until family gets authentic information about how Nnamdi Kanu was abducted they are not prepared to go to court.
Emmanuel Kanu, the brother of detained leader of IPOB said that he does not believe in a fair hearing for the Biafran leader as only those from ‘Fulani Extraction’ are given fair hearing in Nigeria.
2. Nnamdi Kanu: Cameroon Reacts To Nigeria’s Rearrest Of IPOB Leader
Cameroon Special Envoy, Felix Mbayu has congratulated the Nigerian government on the rearrest and repatriation of the leader of the banned Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, through the collaboration of national security agencies and INTERPOL.

Following the commendation of Nigeria Govt by Cameroon, The Biafra Nations League, BNL, has told the Cameroon Government that the country will regret backing the President Muhammadu Buhari government on the rearrest of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
BNL said it has concluded the discussion on how to conquer the country, declaring that towns in Bakassi Peninsula renamed by the Cameroon government won’t be recognized.
BNL said it has already started pulling down billboards and signposts that do not bear original Efik names, vowing to make Cameroun regret supporting Nigeria against the Biafran movement.
4. Ngige to IPOB: Stop linking me to re-arrest of Nnamdi Kanu
Minister of Labour and Employment Chris Ngige has asked the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra (IPOB) to stop linking him to the re-arrest of their leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
Minister described the statement by the IPOB spokesman, Emma Powerful, attempting to link him with the arrest of Kanu as deceitful, mischievous, malicious and wicked.
5. Nnamdi Kanu: Kinsmen berate Nigerian govt over alleged denial of access to family members
Youths from the hometown of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, under the aegis of Ibeku Youth Council (IYC), have called out the federal government of Nigeria over the predicament of the detained IPOB leader in the DSS custody.
The organization described as heinous and inhuman the alleged denial of Kanu access to members of his family, positing that government’s approach since his incarceration was a huge infringement on the rights of the IPOB leader.
6. Nnamdi Kanu ’s lawyer gives update on IPOB leader’s condition in DSS custody
GoldenNewsNg gathered that the lawyer of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, on Saturday gave an update on the condition of the group’s leader in detention.
Ejimakor disclosed that Kanu was looking forward to overcoming his predicament while in custody of the Department of State Services, DSS.
In a tweet, the lawyer said the IPOB leader was “cherry” and urged his followers to be united.
According to Ejimakor: “UPDATE: Today, I met with Onyendu at the DSS. We spent nearly 4 hours. My interaction with him was fulfilling.
“He’s cheery and looks forward to overcoming this predicament sooner than later. Again, he stressed UNITY and tolerance on all sides. He has you all in his thoughts.”
Kanu has been in custody of the DSS since he was rearrested and repatriated to Nigeria to continue his trial.
Following his repatriation to Nigeria, a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja presided over by Justice Binta Nyako had remanded him in custody of the secret police.
