Npower May Soon Recruit 2023 Batch Under Tinubu Administration
In today’s Latest Npower News, it is being speculated that the 2023 Batch may soon be recruited under the administration of President Tinubu.
With only a few months remaining for Npower Batch C2 to complete their 1-year empowerment program and ongoing changes to the Nasims self-service portal, there is a likelihood that the new batch for 2023 could be enrolled during President Tinubu’s tenure.
The Npower program was introduced by former President Buhari in 2016 and has successfully enrolled three batches of volunteers so far: A, B, and the current C batch.
The main objective of the Npower program is to equip young and vibrant Nigerian youths with employability and entrepreneurship skills, thereby enhancing their chances of securing employment or becoming successful entrepreneurs.
Over a million youths have already benefited from the Npower program, with both graduate and non-graduate categories receiving monthly stipends of N30,000 and N10,000, respectively.
As of now, there has been no official statement regarding the future of the Npower program under the new administration, and fresh payments have not been approved yet as beneficiaries of Batch C are still awaiting their 8-month backlog payments.
It’s important to note that while there may be a possibility of new recruitments in the future, there is currently no ongoing 2023 recruitment of applicants.
Prospective Npower applicants should be cautious to avoid scams. It’s essential to remember that applying for the Npower program should never require any payment, and any portal demanding payment for Npower recruitment is likely to be a scam.
