1. NASIMS Sends New Notice On Payment Of NPower Non-Graduate Trainees
The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) has sent a new notice concerning the payment of Non-Graduate Npower Trainees, so if you are one of the beneficiaries, make sure you read until the end.

NASIMS disclosed on their Instagram account that the last allowance for Npower Non-graduate trainees currently undergoing training at official centers has been disbursed.
According to the Notice by NASIMS:
PAYMENT OF LAST ALLOWANCE TO NPOWER NON GRADUATE TRAINEES
This is to bring to your notice that the last allowance for Npower Non-graduate trainees currently undergoing training at different centers has been disbursed. While some accounts have been credited, be rest assured all qualified trainees will be paid.
As the training will gradually be rolling out, we wish you well in all your endeavors and implore you to make judicious use of the acquired skills.

2. CORBON, Npower train over 100 Instructors to improve artisans’ trade
Over 100 participants drawn from the South South region of Nigeria have been trained on how to tutor other artisans to improve on their various trades.
While addressing participants on Tuesday at a 3 day Train the Trainers (TOT) Program organized by the Council of Registered Builders Of Nigeria (CORBON) and N-Power in Asaba, Delta State, the Chairman, CORBON NPOWER Implemenation Committee, Builder Dr Samson Opaluwah said the N-Power Build Training Programme is an initiative of the Federal Government under the National Social Investment Office of the federal Ministry Humanitarian and Disaster Management to give youths the opportunity to develop relevant work skills.
He added that “CORBON and N-Power are training the participants so that they can in turn facilitate and oversee the conduct of Training in all centres across the Country.”
He added that “their role is to ensure that the trainees are suitably placed at apprenticeship sites that are active and are conducting the training according to required standards; and to visit various workplace atleast once a month to monitor and track trainees attendance records”.
In her remarks, the Schedule Officer for South South, Juliana Odey noted that the N-Power programme has empowered thousands of youths with life long skills which has been impactful on the beneficiaries and the country at large.
According to her, “for this training, we have over 100 participants drawn from the South South region. After this training, they are expected to do a Step-Down training for other instructors by guiding them “.
It should be noted that the N-Power program is a program initiated by by the President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari with a Motto, “Empowering Nigerian Youths for Prosperity” since June, 8, 2016, to tackle issues of youth joblessness and improve social development of young people in Nigeria.
Some of the lecture topics include: Overview of the National Occupational Standards and N-power Training Programme Design and Delivery structure among others.
