Npower Sends New Important Notice To N-BUILD Beneficiaries

The Npower management has sent a new notice to N-BUILD beneficiaries as training is set to commence soon.

This was made known by Npower on its official Twitter account where they confirmed that the Federal Government has approved the training of 50,000 N-Build beneficiaries.

However, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq has formerly hinted on the training At the Federal Executive Council on Wednesday, where the National Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Industrial Training Fund (ITF), National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism, Hydraulic Equipment Development Institute (HEDI) were given the nod to train the beneficiaries for 9 months.

NASIMS Releases New Update On Npower Batch C January Stipend

The National Social Investment Management System NASIMS has released a new update regarding the January Payment of the Npower Batch C stipend.

The Npower management, through their Facebook page, stated reasons why they can’t tell the Npower Batch C beneficiaries the January Exact Payment Date.

According to NASIMS, the January 2022 payment is currently being reviewed and is at the concluding stage. To that effect, payment will be initiated any time soon while all 2021 outstanding are gradually being sorted out.

FG Approves To Train 50k Npower Non-Graduate Beneficiaries

The Federal Government has approved the training of 50,000 Non-Graduate N-Power beneficiaries through four of its agencies.

This was disclosed by the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq At the Federal Executive Council on Wednesday, where the National Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Industrial Training Fund (ITF), National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism, Hydraulic Equipment Development Institute (HEDI) were given the nod to train the beneficiaries for 9 months.

In her presentation, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq stated that the Ministry is coordinating the implementation of the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP) in line with its mandate of alleviating poverty, social inclusion, and youth empowerment.

6.4 Million Applied For N-Power Batch-C Programme

The Federal Government received a total of 6.4 million applications for its N-Power Batch-C youth empowerment scheme, the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Farouq, announced on Tuesday.

Speaking in Abuja at the humanitarian ministry open house event/inauguration of Internally Displaced Persons Policy, she stated that 510,000 applicants had been enrolled, while 490,000 would come on board.

Farouq said, “The ministry successfully exited the 500,000 Batches A and B N-Power beneficiaries in 2020 and received about 6.4 million applications for Batch C.

“From Batches A and B, 109,823 beneficiaries have gone on to set up businesses in their communities, underlining and highlighting the impact and importance of the N-Power Programme.

“Under Batch-C stream 1 there are 510,000 currently enrolled and benefitting from the programme, while an additional 490,000 will be enrolled following presidential approval to increase the number to one million.”

NSIP Commences Taking Of Beneficiaries Attendance in Their Various PPA

Flippstack gathered that the NSIP independent monitoring team is going round the PPA of Npower batch C1 beneficiaries to take attendance. In line with this, Npower beneficiaries are advised to be present all the time at their various PPA to avoid missing attendance.
