Npower’s management has expressed regret over the delay in disbursing stipends to beneficiaries, including those for January, February, March, and other outstanding payments.
In response to complaints from some beneficiaries, Npower has issued an apology for the delay in payment and reassured them that efforts are underway to ensure payment is made soon. The management urged beneficiaries to remain patient as they work to resolve the issue.
Meanwhile, reports indicate that the Humanitarian Affairs Ministry is collaborating with other agencies to evacuate stranded Nigerian students caught up in the ongoing crisis in Sudan. The Federal Government has allocated $1.2m towards the evacuation efforts to bring them back safely to Nigeria from Khartoum.
In the midst of these developments, Npower management is encouraging beneficiaries to remain focused on their primary assignments and take advantage of the program to develop new skills that will enable them to become self-reliant.
Finally, the management has reiterated that the outstanding stipends will be paid soon and urges beneficiaries to continue to be patient while they work towards resolving the issue.
