Latest Npower Update

Good news for N-power participants across the country! The people in charge of the Npower program, known as Nasims, have fixed a mistake that caused a lot of worry. They’ve corrected the status of Npower beneficiaries from “applicants” back to “BENEFICIARY,” which is what they were supposed to be all along. This mix-up had been causing confusion for a while, but now it’s all sorted out.

As at  August 18, 2023, Nasims has confirmed that the status of N-power batch C beneficiaries has been successfully changed back to “BENEFICIARY” on the npower program. If you’re one of the beneficiaries, make sure to log in to the Nasims website to check and make sure everything is back to normal.

In other news, the Ministry that takes care of the Npower program has a new leader, Dr. Betta Edu. This change in leadership is expected to bring fresh ideas and enthusiasm to the program, and there’s hope that the program will improve under her guidance.

This is also a positive sign for fixing the issue of unpaid stipends that beneficiaries have been dealing with for the past 8 months. With the beneficiary status back in place, beneficiaries are feeling hopeful that their overdue stipends will be paid soon.

At a meeting held on August 17, 2023, in Abuja, called the National Executive Council (NEC) meeting, some important things were discussed. They talked about how essential items like rice, grains, and fertilizer are being given out to people in different states who need them. The government has given N5 billion to support this effort. It’s meant to help those who are struggling.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) were praised for their help with this effort. The council also recognized the work that state governments are doing to help people who are having a hard time, especially those who are most vulnerable. The council encouraged these governments to keep giving out support to those who need it the most.

As the Npower program works on making things better for its beneficiaries and addressing their worries, the different government agencies are working together to make things better for everyone in the country.
