Recruitment Announcement: Transport and Community Safety Department, South Africa 2023
The Transport and Community Safety Department of South Africa is pleased to announce the latest recruitment for various learnership opportunities. We invite applications from South African youth residing in the Limpopo Province and from all race groups, with a particular emphasis on previously disadvantaged groups.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum educational qualification of grade 12 or an equivalent qualification.
- Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years of age.
- Possession of a valid code 8 driving license (Manual Transmission) is mandatory.
- No criminal record is allowed.
- Submission of a medical certificate as proof of physical fitness to engage in strenuous exercise.
- Applicants must not have been declared unfit to possess a firearm under the Firearm Control Act, 2000 (Act no. 60 of 2000), or other relevant legislation.
- Willingness to work on a 24/7 shift basis, including weekends and public holidays.
- Candidates will be required to undergo driving and competency tests.
- Proof of South African citizenship (identity document) is required.
Knowledge and Skills:
a. Proficiency in driving motor vehicles.
b. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
How to Apply for South Africa Transport and Community Safety Officers Recruitment 2023:
- Complete the prescribed new ZB3 application form, available from any Public Service Department or online at https://www.gov.za/documents. The form must be fully completed, originally signed, and dated by the applicant, with the reference number indicated.
- Submit the application with a recently updated comprehensive CV, copies of all qualifications, and ID documents.
- Attach 8 copies of the driver’s license and an original medical certificate.
- Failure to submit the requested documents will result in the application not being considered. The employer reserves the right not to implement the learnership.
- Successful candidates will be required to sign a learnership contract with the Department. They will also undergo a personnel suitability check, including verification of educational qualifications, citizenship, criminal record check, and security vetting.
