Latest Update on EFCC 2023 Recruitment and Application Exercise
The public has been alerted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) regarding a fraudulent recruitment portal circulating on social media.
The EFCC has expressed its determination to apprehend the scammers responsible for this deceptive recruitment scheme and ensure that they face the full consequences of their actions.
It is important to note that EFCC recruitment follows a transparent, structured, and merit-based process, which is extensively advertised through mass media channels and the Commission’s official social media platforms.
Regrettably, unscrupulous individuals are exploiting this situation to defraud unsuspecting members of the public by offering deceitful employment opportunities.
In an official statement issued by the Head of Media & Publicity, Wilson Uwujaren, the EFCC unequivocally dissociated itself from the fraudulent portal and urged the public to disregard it entirely.
The misleading portal falsely informed eligible applicants about an upcoming recruitment exercise scheduled to begin on May 23, 2023.
Furthermore, the EFCC emphasized that no such recruitment portal exists, and there are currently no recruitment plans in progress.
The commission warned the perpetrators behind these scams to cease their fraudulent activities immediately or face arrest and prosecution.
The EFCC strongly advised the public to disregard the fraudulent recruitment portal and not engage with it under any circumstances.
