Lewandowski Wins German Footballer of The Year

Bayern Munich striker, Robert Lewandowski was today named the German Footballer of the year.

The Polish international garnered 276 percent of the votes conducted by German sports magazine Kicker.

Club teammates, Thomas Muller (54) and Joshua Kimmich (49) came second and third respectively.

The 32 years old was in imperious form during the campaign as he scored 55 goals to secure the treble for the German club.

Astonishingly, Lewandowski finished top scorer in all three competitions.
