Admission Requirements for Geology

Candidates can gain admission into the Department of Geology through the entrance mode (JAMB) or Direct Entry (DE), with the respective programs lasting five (5) years and four (4) years.

Students seeking admission to study Geology must have a credit pass in Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in their SSCE or NECO Certificate.

Direct entry candidates, in addition to the above requirements, should have G.C.E. Advanced Level passes in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry or a Higher School Certificate (H.S.C.) in Geology and any two of the following subjects:
