Nigerians and GOT7 fans are beyond agitated on finding out that Marlian’s Music new signing Lyta ’s newly released music video, Hold me down has striking semblance with the group’s 2016 hit “Just Right”.

The video has racked over 1 million views in less than 4 days thanks to the blatant plagiarism. Although the video has received a massive 480,000 dislikes which could stand as a record for a Nigerian song.

Lyta‘s Boss Naira Marley has come to his defense With a series of tweet saying;

“Lyta they’re dragging ur hair in Asia right now😂😂😂😂 Lyta’s not the video director mf. #ApologiseLyta 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂x

“What if it was ikorodubois that directed lyta’s new video?
Lyta enjoy ur streams mehn”

Who knows, could have been a strategic move by the directors to give the video and song a little oomph or just a case of complete lack of creativity from the directors.
