May 6 JAMB Result Is Out, Check Your JAMB UTME Result 2023 Portal Here following the guideline and link below.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted on May 6, 2023. GoldenNewsNg reports that about 80,000 candidates who were unable to sit for the exam during their scheduled time due to no fault of theirs, including those who were verified but could not sit the exam, those who could not be biometrically verified, and those with mismatched data, sat for the rescheduled UTME across the country.

Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the rescheduled exam. Alongside the registrar of JAMB, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, he monitored the exam at the Computer Based Test Centre in Mambilla Barracks, Asokoro, Abuja. Addressing journalists at the centre, Adamu commended the smooth conduct of the exercise and expressed his happiness with the arrangement of the holding room for the candidates.

JAMB’s Head of Public Affairs and Protocol, Dr Fabian Benjamin, also provided an update on the exam. In an interview with journalists at the venue, he disclosed that 80,000 candidates who were unable to sit for the exam earlier were able to take the rescheduled UTME across the country.

Overall, the release of the UTME results and the successful conduct of the rescheduled exam are positive developments for the education sector in Nigeria.

How To Check 2023 JAMB Result| Check JAMB Result 2023 Now |Fast Methods

  • Send UTMERESULT (without spaces) via SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the same phone number you registered with.
  • Ensure that you have a minimum credit balance of N50 before sending the message.
  • Wait for an SMS response which you will receive shortly after.
  • Depending on your situation, you’ll receive one of the following responses:
  • If you use a non-registered phone number, you’ll get the message: “This phone number was not used for registration.”
  • If you have a result, you’ll receive a message like: “Dear Mr/Miss X, your result is as follows…” with additional information provided.
  • If your result is withheld, you’ll receive a “Result Withheld” text.
  • If you need to provide clarifications/documents, you’ll receive: “Result withheld pending the upload of clarifications/document required from you.”
  • If you were absent, you’ll receive “CANDIDATE ABSENT.” If your registration number is also canceled, you’ll be informed.
  • If you entered the exam venue without authorization, you’ll receive the message “Invalid Entrance into the Exam Hall.”

May 6 JAMB Result Is Out: How to Check Your JAMB 2023 Result Online ( 2023 JAMB Result for May 6)

Option 1 (for printing original result slip):

  1. Visit the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) eFacility portal at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/ and log in with your credentials.
  2. Click on the “Print Result Slip” tab located under the list of services.
  3. Choose your preferred payment option and make the required payment of N1,500.
  4. After a successful payment, select your exam year and enter your JAMB Registration Number in the required columns to check and print your result slip.

Option 2 (currently not working):

  1. Go to the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) result-checking website at https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/CheckUTMEResults.
  2. Enter your JAMB registration number or phone number in the required column.
  3. Click the “Check My Results” button to view your UTME results notification.
  4. If your result is ready, the portal will display your JAMB Notification of Result, and you can proceed with the printing of the result.
