Nigerian Instagram comedian, skit maker and actor Mr Macaroni has raised alarm over threats to his life for not supporting a particular presidential candidate.
Goldennewsng reports that, the entertainer who doubles as an activist came online in the early hours of today to share a series of tweet, which indicated that he has been receiving numerous threats and intention of attack against his life, from unknown individuals. This time around, the threats were said to have come from a supporters of one of the presidential candidates for the 2023 Nigeria presidential election.
Taking to the blue app he tweeted the following.
I went to visit my mother 2 weeks ago. I was giving out money to some people in the neighborhood as I always do anytime I go home. A woman walked up to me and asked why I am against a particular candidate.. I said I am not against anyone. All I want is for a better country…

And that can only happen when we vote in good leaders.

Nigerians took to his tweet to wish him safety and prayed God’s protections for him, As the elections are drawing nearer, more people will be reporting issues like this, all we can do is pray and hope that, the forth coming elections are free and fair.
