Hackers succeeded in hacking the Instagram account of Peter Psquare also known popularly as Mr P on Friday. The celebrity who has been giving out cash rewards via his Instagram handle had earlier announced that he will hold a draw on Saturday the 9th of May 2020 but the hackers struck on Friday .
He has given out a wide range of cash rewards through Instagram handle and he has also supported his fans with cash rewards by asking them to send their account details through a direct message (DM).
But on Friday he got a message on Instagram and clicked on a link only t lose access to his Instagram account. Mr P who often made regular posts on Instagram especially on a day when he had a draw through his Zoom life Lottery business had a blank Instagram account for more than 10 hrs.
What could have been the biggest hacking operation in the Nigerian entertainment industry’s history was averted after Mr P showed up on Saturday announcing that he has successfully recovered his Instagram account from the hackers. Since on Saturday that he got his account back, the celebrity has made only two posts because he is obviously shocked at what happened.
