The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) has reassured N-Power beneficiaries that the payment process is still ongoing. NASIMS serves as the central platform for managing and coordinating Social Investment Programs (SIPs) under the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development.
In a recent announcement, NASIMS stated that the payment of outstanding stipends for N-Power batch C2 beneficiaries is gradually being processed. Although the approval and initiation of backlog payments for eligible beneficiaries have been confirmed, the process is taking place gradually. This update comes directly from the Nasimsng media team, who shared the information on NASIMS’ official Twitter account.
The team acknowledged the concerns raised by beneficiaries and assured them that all complaints have been collected from the comment section and forwarded to the relevant department. They emphasized that keeping beneficiaries informed is an essential part of their responsibilities. The team concluded by affirming that payment is still in progress and promised to provide further updates as they become available.
According to Nigerian Tribune, the N-Power scheme was introduced in June 2016, employing graduates in various categories such as N-teach, N-health, N-agro, and N-build. Currently, the scheme is in its batch C phase, with Stream 1 beneficiaries already exited and Stream 2 beneficiaries currently engaged.
