The National Examinations Council (NECO) no longer uses scratch cards to check NECO results; instead, you must use a NECO Result token to check your result on the NECO result checking portal. According to Edustuff, the council launched the new NECO result online method in 2019.
How Much is NECO Token?
The NECO Result Token costs N500 plus an additional N40 service charge.
Does NECO Token have expiring date ?

How to Register on NECO Results Online System
- Visit www.neco.gov.ng to register.
- Select ‘NECO Results‘ from the top menu.
- Scroll down to the ‘Visit NECO Results‘ button on the NECO Results page.
- To register a new account, click ‘Register a new account.’
- Fill in the essential information in the corresponding columns and press the register button (as indicated in the image above).
- Your registered email address will receive an Activation Email from NECO. NECO RESULTS PLATFORM will be the subject of the email from no-reply.
- Open your email and click the verify button or the link underneath it to confirm your identity.
How to Login on NECO Results Online System
- Go to www.neco.gov.ng.
- Select ‘NECO Results‘ from the drop-down menu under ‘Our Exams.’
- Scroll down the NECO Results page and click the ‘Visit NECO Results‘ option.
- To log in, click the ‘Login Here‘ link.
- Fill in the email address or phone number that you used to register.
- To gain access to your account, enter your secure password and click Login.
How To Purchase NECO Result Token Online
- Go to https://result.neco.gov.ng/login
- Fill in the required fields with your email address/phone number and password.
Then select the Login option. - Select Purchase NECO Token from the drop-down menu as shown in the image above and click it.
- Enter the desired number of tokens and press the Pay Now button.
- To pay for the token on the REMITA platform with a bank or credit card, click the Proceed to Pay button.
How to Check NECO Token Number
Once your payment has been verified, you will be returned to your account, where you will see your purchased tokens listed on the right-hand side of the screen. To view all tokens, click GO TO TOKENS.

- Select the sort of exam i.e. SSCE Internal (June/July)
