Nigeria has recorded new COVID-19 cases with the NCDC announcing 239 new cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 239 new COVID-19 cases in a tweet on the micro-blogging site, Twitter on Saturday evening, May 9.

NCDC noted that of the 239 new COVID-19 cases recorded on Saturday evening, 97 were detected in Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial city, 44-Bauchi 29-Kano 19-Katsina 17-Borno 7-FCT 6-Kwara 5-Oyo 3-Kaduna 3-Sokoto 2-Adamawa 2-Kebbi 2-Plateau 2-Ogun 1-Ekiti, southwest Nigeria.
