Zuwa, the American-based Nigerian singer, also known as Osazuwa Agbonayinma, was tragically shot dead in the United States of America. Although details about the circumstances of his death remain unclear, his father, Ehiozuwa Agbonayinma, a former Nigerian lawmaker, confirmed to Entertainment News on Channels Television that his son was fatally shot in the back of the head on Sunday. The late singer, who held a master’s degree in Architecture, leaves behind a legacy in the music industry.

In 2020, Zuwa collaborated with his brother Eghosa to form the duo Roze, showcasing their musical talent by releasing several songs. Among their works, the song ‘Ileke’ gained critical acclaim, contributing to their recognition in the music industry.

In November 2022,  GOLDENNEWS reported the tragic incident involving Slami Ifeanyi, a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and former Mr. Universe. According to the news, Ifeanyi was reportedly shot dead by unknown gunmen in Anambra State. In a distressing video circulating on social media, the lifeless body of the singer was observed hanging from his Lexus car, surrounded by a pool of blood.

The unfortunate event occurred while Ifeanyi was driving alone at Umubere in Akwa, the state capital. Reports indicated that he had recently acquired the Lexus, making the incident even more poignant as it marked a tragic end shortly after a significant personal milestone. The circumstances surrounding the attack and his untimely death added to the concerns regarding the safety of individuals, particularly those in the entertainment industry.
