#NigeriaDecides: Voting Suspended In Nine Polling Units As Protest Erupt Over Alleged Fake Ballot Paper And Results Sheet
People say that voting has stopped in nine voting centers in Taraba State’s Gyetta Aure and Asibiti Wards in the Donga Local Government Area.
In other parts of the state, people are protesting because they allege that the ballot and results sheet were fake.
Voters in Gyetta Aure and Asibiti Wards of Donga Local Government Area in Taraba Southern Senatorial District are protesting over the discovery of fake ballot papers and election result sheets.
The protest has reportedly stopped the voting process in about nine polling units of the ward.
Giving an account of the incident, an election observer said voters are now discouraged to vote over the discovery of the alleged fake ballot papers and results.
It was also learnt that at the time of filing the report, all the electoral materials have been returned to the office of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the ward.
