NAF Recruitment 2024 Update
The Nigerian Air Force is calling on all interested and qualified applicants to apply for its Direct Short Service Commission DSSC 33 recruitment for Graduates currently ongoing. Note that the Application will start on 14 October 2024! This is just to inform you ahead so you can prepare all necessary requirements in order not to get stranded.
About NAF DSSC Recruitment:
The Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) is a type of commission in the NAF that is open to both civilians and serving military personnel. The Course provides the avenue for the enlistment of degree holders who are professionals in specified fields. The training period for this type of commission is usually 6 months. of intensive military training and successful candidates are commissioned into the rank of Flying Officer.

Qualifications:
1. Interested applicants must possess a minimum of Second Class Upper Division for holders of the first degree and Upper Credit for HND holders.
2. In addition, applicants must possess credits in English Language and Mathematics as well as 3 additional credits in subjects related to the course of study.
3. Computer literacy will be an added advantage.
4. Applicants must possess NYSC Discharge Certificate or Letter of Exemption from NYSC at the time of applying
5. Applicants must possess Certificates of full registration with their respective statutory professional bodies in Nigeria where applicable.
6. Applicants must be of Nigerian origin by birth.
7. Applicants must not be less than 1.66m tall for males and not less than 1.63m tall for females.
8. Applicants must be medically, physically and psychologically
9. Applicants must be free of any previous conviction(s) on criminal grounds, by a court of law.
10. Applicants must be between the ages of 20 and 30 years (Candidates born before 27 September 1995 sre not eligible) with the following exceptions:
a. Medical Consultants should be between the ages of 25 — 40 years (Candidates born before 27 September 1985 are not eligible).

Local Government Area Attestation Form to be signed by Military/Police Officer from the same state as the applicants, not below the rank of Wing Commander or equivalent in the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Navy, Assistant Commissioner of Police and above, Local Government Chairman/Secretary, Magistrate and Principal of Secondary School attended by applicants.
b. Parent/Guardian Consent Form.
c. Attestation of Good Character Form.
d. Acknowledgment Form.
