Nigerian Army College of Nursing Admission Form 2025/2026 is Out – Full Application Guide

The Nigerian Army College of Nursing (NACON), located in Yaba, Lagos State, has officially opened its admission process for the 2025/2026 academic session. In a public notice signed by Lt. Col. R.O. Duoboye, Acting Registrar, qualified Nigerians are invited to apply for admission into the ND/HND Nursing and Community Nursing programmes.

This admission opportunity is open to both military and civilian applicants across Nigeria.

Overview of Available Programmes

The Nigerian Army College of Nursing offers the following two categories of programmes:

1. ND/HND Nursing Programme

  • Duration: Four (4) years

  • Qualification: Candidates must have sat for the 2025 UTME and scored a minimum of 160

  • This programme leads to the award of a National Diploma and Higher National Diploma in Nursing

2. Community Nursing Programme

  • Duration: Two (2) years

  • Qualification: Candidates must have sat for the 2025 UTME and scored a minimum of 130

  • Designed to train competent community health nurses, especially for rural health outreach

Who Can Apply?

Admission is open to:

  • Civilians (Nigerian citizens by birth)

  • Military personnel

  • Paramilitary personnel

All applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be between the ages of 18 and 25 years by October 2025

  • Possess a minimum of five (5) credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry in WASSCE, NECO, or GCE. The results must be obtained in not more than two sittings.

  • Must have written the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME)

  • Meet the UTME cut-off marks:

    • 160 for ND/HND Nursing

    • 130 for Community Nursing

Application Timeline

  • Commencement of Application: Monday, 23rd June 2025

  • Deadline for Application: Wednesday, 7th August 2025

  • Date of Screening Examination: Monday, 18th August to Thursday, 21st August 2025

  • Venue: Nigerian Army College of Nursing Complex, Yaba, Lagos State

The college emphasizes that candidates must attend the screening exercise on their scheduled date and time.

Documents Required for Application

Applicants are expected to scan and upload the following documents during registration:

  • O’Level result (WAEC, NECO, or GCE)

  • 2025 UTME result

  • Passport photograph (recent)

  • School testimonial

  • Birth certificate or age declaration

  • Certificate of State of Origin

Ensure that all documents are clear, authentic, and legible to avoid disqualification.

Note: The entire registration and admission process is done online. No physical forms will be accepted.
