Nigerian Army University Biu Admission Requirements for the 2023/2024 Academic Session

We would like to inform the general public, especially those aspiring to join the Nigerian Army University Biu, that the admission requirements for the 2023/2024 Academic Session have been released by the university.

Candidates seeking admission into NAUB undergraduate programs are expected to fulfill the following criteria:

  1. Candidates must have taken the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and obtained a minimum cut-off score of 180.

Candidates should refer to the JAMB admission requirements for universities to determine the O’ Level/A’ Level course combination requirements for their chosen course.

  1. Candidates must possess a minimum of five credits in SSCE or its equivalent in not more than two sittings. The subjects must include Mathematics, English Language, and relevant subjects related to the candidate’s chosen course, whether in the Science or Humanities field.
  2. Foreign students intending to study at NAUB must have passed equivalents of O’ Level/A’ Level examinations in their respective countries. Non-English speaking countries’ students must provide evidence of good proficiency in English.

NAUB Admission Requirements for Direct Entry (DE) 2023/2024

Below are the requirements for candidates who wish to gain admission into Nigerian Army University Biu (NAUB) through Direct Entry:

  1. A minimum of five credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE/GCE) Ordinary Level in a maximum of two sittings.
  2. Candidates must have ‘A’ level/IJMB passes in two subjects related to their area of study.
  3. JUPEB/A’ Level passes in related subjects.
  4. Degree (First Class/Second Class Upper) in related fields for the chosen course.
  5. Direct entry candidates are required to purchase the NAUB Direct Entry form through the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and NAUB Portal.
  6. A minimum of Merit Pass in the National Certificate of Education (NCE), National Diploma (ND), and other Advanced Level Certificates.
