Nigerian Navy Recruitment 2022 Registration Date

The date for the commencement of the Nigerian Navy Recruitment 2022 registration starts from Sunday 7th August and will close Saturday 17th September 2022.

Requirements For Nigerian Navy Recruitment 2022/2023 Form

  • Must possess a minimum of 5 credits at not more than 2 sittings in WASSCE / SSCE / GCE / NECO / NABTEB (English and Mathematics inclusive) except sportsmen/sportswomen category that require 4 credits at not more than 2 sittings (English inclusive). School Certificate must not be older than 6 years from date of application
  • Must be between the ages of 18 – 22 years by January 2023 for categories requiring School Certificate.
  • Must be between the ages of 18 – 26 years by January 2023 for categories requiring higher qualifications; NCE, OND, Diploma, Registered Nurse / Registered Midwife as well as for Drivers / Mechanics and sportsmen/sportswomen categories. Applicants with qualifications higher than those specified in the guidelines should not apply.
  • Must be single and of Nigerian Origin by birth.
  • Must not be less than 1.69m tall for males and 1.65m for females.
  • Must possess National Identification Number (NIN) and Bank Verification Number(BVN).

Nigerian Navy Recruitment 2022 form Deadline

The application for Nigerian Navy recruitment will close on Saturday, 17th September 2022.

The following details on the application process are required of the public:

  • Application is cost-free.
  • It is encouraged that applicants only submit one application because numerous ones will be rejected.

To submit, applicants must print out copies of the Application Forms that have been filled out and include the following forms:

  • Declaration and Certification by Parent and Guardian Form for the Applicant.
  • Form for Local Government Area Certification.
  • Form for Police Certification.
  • Form for Guarantor and Form for Official Use Only

 

The hiring process will begin with an evaluation of candidates’ credentials online, followed by recruiting exams at specified centers across the country on a date to be disclosed later., where the applicants will arrive with the signed hard copies of the online forms they have completed.

Residents of a Lagos estate were left in shock on Thursday night after a young woman, Deborah Porsche, popularly known as Debporsche, was allegedly murdered by her ex-boyfriend, identified simply as Lintex, nearly a year after their breakup. According to reports, Lintex had repeatedly threatened Deborah since their split in August 2024, allegedly vowing: “If I don’t have you, nobody will. If I no marry you, blood go flow.” Deborah’s sister described her as a hardworking interior decorator who had just completed her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). She further alleged that the deceased endured emotional abuse throughout her relationship with Lintex, which ultimately pushed her to walk away. On the night of the attack, the suspect disguised himself as a dispatch rider in an attempt to infiltrate the estate. Security guards reportedly stopped him at the gate, but he scaled the fence and gained entry to Deborah’s apartment. Eyewitnesses said Lintex first tampered with the gas cylinder line outside the apartment, allegedly trying to cause an explosion. When that failed, he forced his way inside and stabbed Deborah multiple times with a knife he brought along. Alarmed neighbours rushed to the scene and alerted the police. The suspect was subdued and handed over to law enforcement officers. Police authorities have confirmed the incident, stating that investigations are ongoing. Deborah’s tragic death has sparked outrage online and renewed calls for stronger legal protections for women against abusive and obsessive partners.
